Motorcycle & ATV Emissions
Excel Engineering’s facilities are compliant with 40 CFR part 86 subpart F, allowing us to perform emissions testing for both motorcycles and ATVs.
Our facilities feature a Variable Volume / Variable Temperature Sealed Housing Evaporative Testing rig (VV/VT-SHED) that meets the requirements of §86.107-96(a)(1). We have a hydrocarbon analyzer that meets the requirements of §1065.260. We are capable of accommodating motorcycles, large trailer-mounted equipment, and ATVs.
Advanced Dyno Testing
We can perform EPA and CARB certification testing for motorcycles and scooters on a single-roll dynamometer. Our dual-roll dynamometers are designed for ATVs and side-by-sides, with an inertia weight up to 1700 kg and an 80-inch track width.
Pollutant Measurement
We utilize a Constant Volume Sampler (CVS) emissions bench to measure gaseous pollutants, including THC, NMHC, CO, CO2, CH4, and N2O.
Detailed Reporting
Our final reports are specifically designed to meet all the recordkeeping requirements for Durability Data Vehicles (DDVs).
